Position Summary
Repairs or refits entire units that fail tests or tolerance levels within assigned cell(s) (includes multiple workstations/jobs).Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembles products to engineering specifications and drawings using tools provided.
- Use soldering irons, solder pots, and hand tools to perform work.
- Assemble parts and perform tasks such as potting, encapsulation, epoxy bonding, sanding, and cleaning.
- May assemble prototype units for engineering.
- Recommends solutions to assembly problems regarding fixtures and tools.
- Assists other assemblers with questions related to the assembly of our products.
Required Skills:
- 5+ year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or technical certificate
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
Desired Skills:
- Soldering Training Certification
- Able to interpret specification, diagram and/or blueprints.
- Able to perform simple math (addition and subtraction, ex. look at dimension)
- Physical Requirements:
- Lifting and transport of units up to 30 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to use soldering iron.
- Use of hands in a repetitive cycle.

Expected Compensation: The expected compensation range for this role is
$52,728.00 - $65,832.00.

Please note this represents the expected range. Ultra Maritime considers multiple factors when determining final compensation, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, a candidate’s relevant experience and education, certifications and training, as well as current business and market conditions.
