Full job description
The Work:
Responsibilities:
- Architect and Develop: Design and implement architecture for complex applications using React, Java, and cloud native tools, focusing on performance, scalability, and reusability.
- Component Library Development: Create and maintain a scalable, reusable component library to ensure consistent design and function across the application.
- Code Standards & Best Practices: Establish and enforce development standards, code style guides, and best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance application performance through techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Guide and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices and contributing to continuous learning within the team.
Here's What You Need:
- 5 plus years in full stack development with significant experience using React and related libraries
- Advanced knowledge of React and its ecosystem (Redux, Hooks, Context API), as well as modern TypeScript
- Demonstrates expertise in API development and best practices, including RESTful API design, versioning, authentication (e.g., OAuth, JWT), rate limiting, and documentation standards (e.g., OpenAPI/Swagger)
- Strong understanding of synchronous and asynchronous workflows, including event-driven architecture, message queuing, promise-based patterns, async/await paradigms, and multi-threading considerations in back-end systems
- Expertise in Microservices and/or backend Web Servers (Python FastAPI, Ruby on Rails)
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
- Active Secret Clearance
- Ability to work on-site in Arlington, VA two to three days per week

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
