What You Will Do:

Join Pratt & Whitney as an A&P Technician supporting PW800 Flight Line operations for a key external customer. In this hands-on role, you will provide critical engine maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and return-to-service support across both flight test and production environments. Working directly with the customer and alongside Pratt & Whitney technical teams, you will help ensure PW800 engines are maintained, repaired, inspected, and returned to service safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced A&P Technician with turbine-engine experience who enjoys a dynamic, customer-focused environment and field-based problem solving.

This role will work primarily on our weekend shift schedule, which is Friday-Sunday from 7am-7pm. Training will be conducted during our day shift schedule for up to 6 months prior to transitioning to the weekend shift. Overtime hours, off shift coverage, and occasional travel may be required to support the team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed inspections and evaluations of turbine engine parts and components.

• Conduct engine refurbishment, maintenance, and return-to-service activities.

• Support mobile repair team operations, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.

• Provide on-wing and off-wing engine support in both hangar and field environments.

• Support flight test and production activities by providing timely technical and maintenance support.

• Interface directly with customers to understand requirements, resolve technical issues, and provide responsive field support.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose engine issues.

• Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection documentation in accordance with applicable procedures and requirements.

• Follow all applicable safety, quality, regulatory, and maintenance procedures.

• Adhere to department shift schedules, including weekday and weekend work as required.

 

Qualifications You Must Have:

• AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) and a minimum of 6 years of relevant A&P experience

• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license

 

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Previous experience maintaining or troubleshooting turbine engines

• Experience supporting flight test and/or production operations

• Previous experience with engine inspections, component evaluation, refurbishment, troubleshooting, repairs, and return to service activities

• Experience working directly with customers in a field service or technical support environment.

The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
