Lot Driver

• Perform a circle inspection before moving any vehicle, checking for hazards, visible damage, tire inflation, and vehicle readiness.
• Verify vehicle identification numbers (VINs) against work orders when applicable.
• Confirm that protective materials (seat covers, floor mats) are properly installed and replaced if damaged.
• Document inspection results and complete any required paperwork.
• Operate vehicles cautiously within yard speed limits, maintaining safe following distances and convoy integrity when driving in groups.
• Shuttle vehicles between designated areas, staging yards, processing bays, or transport lines as directed.
• Park vehicles precisely according to AMPORTS standards (aligned on load lines or hash marks as required).
• Complete and submit all necessary documentation accurately, including movement records and process paperwork.
• Follow all AMPORTS policies, procedures, and ISO compliance requirements.
• Immediately report any vehicle defects, safety hazards, or irregularities to supervision.
