Description
Title: Cyber Security Engineer
Location: Washington, DC Navy Yard
Clearance: Top Secret
Leidos is excited to add a Top Secret cleared Cyber Security Engineer who possesses a passion for Cyber Security Scanning to help identify security weaknesses and flaws in systems and software running on them and also understands the critical RMF process to improve information security.
The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a fast paced , mission focused team environment as part of our team at the Washington Navy Yard! All work is onsite.
This position requires an individual who has experience with RMF and the software systems engineering process.
Our new colleague will be a part of the cyber security and systems engineering team to provide the Cyber Security Scans and input data required for the RMF process in order to strengthen the risk management process.
This individual will collaborate with the cyber security team to generate the required Cyber Security Scans and ensure that the information is meticulously collected. This includes being responsible for the integrity of transmitting this information and calculating the risk in order to meet the compliance required for transmitting this type of secure information.
The person in this position will work with the team to develop new processes, standards or operational plans in support of the established cyber security processes. This can include leading training and development of security practices to team members and users in order to maintain a proper and secure environment.
Strong communication skills are a must since this position requires coordination between multiple contractor teams, the government and Leidos systems engineers.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 6 years of experience. Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree
Active Top Secret clearance with ability to be obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
Experience and understanding of RMF process.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
