Novant Health Pediatric Endocrinology is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant Lead!

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, no weekends

Join Novant Health Pediatric Endocrinology as a Certified Medical Assistant Lead and help provide compassionate, personalized care to patients. You’ll lead a collaborative clinical team while building meaningful relationships with patients and supporting them throughout their care journey.

This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience working with pediatrics patients or in a medical office setting, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply!

What We're Looking For:
  • Education:High School Diploma or GED, required.
    • Certified Medical Assistant requirements: Graduate of Certified Medical Assistant program. Certifications allowed through American Association of Medical Assistants. Registered Medical Assistant requirements:Registry allowed through Association of Medical Technologists.
  • Experience: Previous work in a medical setting, preferred
  • Licensure/Certification: Current certification as CMA or RMA, required.
  • Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
What You'll Do:
  • Room patients and obtain/document vital signs accurately.
  • Ensure efficient patient flow to support timely and high-quality patient care.
  • Administer injections in accordance with provider orders and established protocols.
  • Provide coverage and support to other CMAs as needed to maintain clinic operations.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members to support a collaborative work environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports.
