<p style="text-align:center"><b>Achieve more with Volt</b></p> <p>Volt is hiring for a <b>1st Shift</b> <b>Order Picker (Cherry Picker Operator)</b> for a leading furniture distribution and warehouse operation in <b>Fremont, CA</b>.</p> <h4>As an Order Picker you will:</h4> <ul> <li>Operate cherry picker forklifts and order pickers throughout the warehouse</li> <li>Pick and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently</li> <li>Pull product for outbound shipments to retail stores and distribution centers</li> <li>Move inbound freight from receiving bins to assigned rack locations based on product type and dimensions</li> <li>Relocate product from end caps and service areas into racking systems</li> <li>Scan merchandise using RF handheld scanners prior to relocating product</li> <li>Ensure inbound product and transfers are stored in designated rack areas</li> <li>Transport completed orders to the dock using material handling equipment</li> <li>Position oversized and heavy furniture safely onto racking systems</li> <li>Inspect forklift and equipment before and during operation</li> <li>Maintain a clean, organized warehouse floor free from debris</li> <li>Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards</li> <li>Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and condition of all orders shipped</li> <li>Meet or exceed company productivity standards</li> </ul> <h4>The ideal candidate will have:</h4> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED</li> <li>1–2 years of cherry picker / order picker forklift experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment</li> <li>Experience handling large, heavy furniture (highly preferred)</li> <li>Comfort working at height on a large cherry picker platform</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety</li> <li>Experience using RF scanning equipment</li> <li>Experience working in furniture or large-item distribution warehouses is a huge plus.</li> </ul> <p><b>Schedule:</b> <b>5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, (Thursday- Monday)</b> five days per week; <b>days off Tuesday & Wednesday</b>.</p> <p>This is a <b>Temp-to-Hire opportunity</b>.</p> <p><b>Pay Rate:</b> $21/hr.</p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
