Full job description

Our client, a leading organization in supply chain and procurement services, is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join their team. As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be part of the Sourcing department supporting procurement and supplier management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience and will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sourcing Specialist

Location: Cincinnati, OH (In Office)

Pay Rate: $39.13

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

What's the Job?

  • Assist the Sourcing Manager(s) with supplier and cost management activities.
  • Support the creation and management of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and analyze related data.
  • Conduct total cost and comparative analysis across products or suppliers to identify efficiencies and savings opportunities.
  • Develop models and perform scenario analysis to support strategic business decisions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations effectively.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, with experience in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
