1 week assignment -- clinical hours plus beeper call (1:1 ratio)
30-minute response time required for beeper call
10 patients per shift
Both inpatient and outpatient coverage required
Call volume: ~1 phone consult, 1 patient seen, 1 admission per 24 hrs
Bread and butter general surgery skills required
Scopes strongly preferred
Adult and trauma patient populations preferred
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
Assignment details and time entry in online portal
