Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator (2 Month Contract) to join their team. As a Warehouse Coordinator (2 Month Contract), you will be part of the operations team supporting warehouse and logistics functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator (2 Month Contract)
Location: Sunrise, FL
Pay Range: $22
Shift: 1st Shift - Monday-Friday, 8AM-4PM
What's the Job?
- Track all outstanding Purchase Orders from their order date until the receiving report is posted.
- Update the Purchase Order Database with the latest shipment status.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in preparing documentation for shipments and perform light physical handling of freight when required.
- Liaise with vendors, carriers, and receivers to ensure smooth material flow and optimal transit times.
- React promptly and courteously to inquiries regarding item or shipment status, maintaining open communication with requisitioners.
What's Needed?
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Polite, friendly, yet firm telephone manner.
- Ability to handle light lifting and moving of shipments.
- Experience in a purchasing or logistics environment is a definite asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
