Inpatient Rehabilitation Physical Therapist Assistant

Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients recovering from major illness or injury in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. Working under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, you will deliver hands-on care, lead therapeutic exercises and gait training, assist with transfers, and reinforce safety techniques. You’ll document patient progress, educate patients and families on home programs, and collaborate closely with a skilled, interdisciplinary team in a culture that values clinical excellence, respect, and continuous professional growth.
