Hospitalist Physician

Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan, is seeking a Hospital Medicine Physician to join its established team. This role offers the opportunity to provide patient-first care within a supportive and collaborative environment. Practice Info

• Join a cohesive team of 16 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners, supported by a practice coordinator and clinical performance nurse.
• The team is involved in various hospital committees, including CHF and mortality.
• Monthly team and internal staff meetings are held to discuss initiatives, barriers, and highlight provider contributions.
• The ICU is closed with intensivist coverage.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex cases.
• Attend to patients during codes and rapids, with residents running these events.
• No procedures are expected.

Compensation

Shift & Schedule

• 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
• Shifts are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Requirements

• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• New internal medicine graduates, internal medicine residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply.
• H1 and J1 Visa Candidates are supported, with Sound covering all required filing fees and services for visa, licensing, and credentialing.
