Travel Job Summary:

Physical Therapist Outpatient in Texas. This role involves evaluating, planning, and implementing physical therapy care for an outpatient population, including orthopedics, balance, deconditioning, and pain management. The position requires adherence to standard practices and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic outpatient environment.

Job Details:

Shift: Days, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, minimum 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in physical therapy, licensure as a Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) in Texas or a compact state, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, at least 1 year of experience; location in Texas, and valid license required

Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred

Additional Information: The physical therapist will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, and treating patients with various outpatient conditions. Responsibilities include gathering pertinent data, performing assessments, recognizing additional needs, interpreting results, and establishing measurable goals. Reassessment of patient progress must be conducted regularly per department and regulatory policies. No float rotation is required for this position.
