Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 24 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Mass General Brigham Incorporated (Direct) - Main Program and no current placement allowed at Program: Mass General Brigham Incorporated (Direct) - Main Program.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in one location; and 2 years working as a traveler. Neuro assessment skills, telemetry competency, and ability to interpret tele strips required.

Required Credentials: Contingent/temp licensure is not accepted. MGB Medication Exam required with 80% passing score. MGB Dysrhythmia Exam required with 80% passing score.

Unit Details: Private Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg unit that also admits medical overflow patients. Patient population includes scheduled elective orthopedic and neuro/surg patients, fractures, neuro patients, and medical overflow. Day and eve shifts are 1:4 and may go up to 5; night shift is 1:5 or 6.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Night positions do not rotate.

Floating Requirements: Travelers are required to float to applicable units when requested.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
