Overview

The Account Executive is accountable for expanding existing relationships and delivering high quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients through the proactive management of an assigned group of client accounts of moderate to high complexity. This role directly contributes to key business outcomes such as revenue growth, client retention, client satisfaction, enhancing AJG's value to our clients and prospects, achieving operating/margin targets and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.


How you'll make an impact

  • Independently managing accounts of increasing complexity
  • Growing revenue by successfully counseling clients on additional business opportunity via cross-selling & up-selling
  • Driving Client Service Cycle (Strategy, Renewals, Open Enrollment)
  • Acts as the client lead, driving strategy
  • Financial management of client accounts, presenting annual projections, renewals and discussing contribution strategies
  • Delivering high quality client service consistent with AJG operational standards and practices, and achieving operational productivity and performance metrics consistently

Further responsibilities include:

  • Ability to manage internal team to ensure timely execution of quality client deliverables
  • Growing and profitably managing an assigned group of client accounts successfully
  • Building relationships with existing clients by providing exceptional ongoing customer care
  • Seeking referrals from current client base to solicit new business prospects, and securing existing business and actively driving the sale of additional services
  • Supporting the business priorities of Branch Managers
  • May offer training, development, and/or supervision to lower-level staff

About You

Required: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 10+ years client service and/or claims management experience. 1+ years supervisory experience. Appropriate Life and Health licensing is required.

Preferred: Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing large market client relationships. Solid financial acumen. Must be available to travel up to 35% of the time.
