Lead Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer with 10–15+ years of software development experience to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Python, and AWS, along with hands-on experience with LangChain or Sierra framework. Banking/financial services experience is highly preferred.

Required Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with either LangChain or Sierra framework.
• Strong knowledge of system design, architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience developing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the banking or financial services domain.
• Experience with cloud-native application development.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong communication and technical leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Java-based applications.
• Develop and maintain solutions using Java, Python, and AWS.
• Design robust and scalable application architectures based on business and technical requirements.
• Leverage LangChain or Sierra for AI-enabled application development where applicable.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Troubleshoot complex application and production issues.
• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability requirements.
• Contribute to technical strategy, system design, and continuous improvement initiatives.
