About the Position

TransForce is seeking a local CDL B Truck Driver to support operations based in the Louisville, KY area. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule Details

  • Pay: $25-$26 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 AM start
  • Hours per week: 40
  • Employment Type: Temp to Perm

Job Details

  • Route Type: Local Delivery
  • Freight / Load Type: Building products, primarily roofing and siding materials
  • Equipment: Class B Straight Truck with Piggyback/Moffett
  • Handling: Light Touch with Moffett

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate equipment on local routes
  • Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
  • Perform required handling tasks
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
  • Meet the physical demands of the role

Minimum Requirements

  • License: CDL B
  • Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
