Full job description
The largest healthcare system in central Massachusetts, and a major provider of advanced medical care in the region, is adding a Urologist. Offering a wide range of specialized services, including trauma care, cancer treatment, and cardiovascular medicine. The hospital plays a key role in medical education and research, helping train future physicians while delivering high-quality patient care.
About the Opportunity:
- This role offers a unique blend of academic and community-based practice, with opportunities for clinical, basic, translational, and health-related quality research.
- The position emphasizes a strong commitment to patient care and teaching residents and medical students within a collaborative academic environment.
- Our Urology department will have six physicians when fully staffed
- Position offers a blend of clinical time at one of three community locations and time at the University Campus
- High-volume, academically oriented surgical practice
- Physicians have access to leading-edge technology and a strong referral base
- Ability to help shape and grow community-based services
- Faculty appointment
