OTR Truck Driver Compensation:

  • $1,500guaranteed minimum weekly pay
  • Top-earning drivers earn $110,000/year
  • $92,000 - $101,000/year average
  • $1,800 - $2,200/week average
    • *includes ancillary and performance pay
  • Driver Core is currently averaging $.70/CPM
  • Additional pay:
    • $2,000 training pay
    • $10 additional stop pay for every pick-up and drop-off
    • $0.12/CPM over-dimensional pay
    • $0.65 - $0.70/CPM outbound mileage pay, based on tenure

OTR Truck Driver Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL A)
  • To meet our current insurance provider's safety standards, all applicants must be at least 23 years of age at the time of application
  • At least 6 months of verifiable open-deck (step-deck, double-drop, or flatbed) experience
  • At least 12 months of verifiable long-haul CDL A experience
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and have a clear status in the FMCSA Clearinghouse
  • Be able to stay out for at least 3 weeks at a time
  • A willingness to be dispatched coast to coast
  • Be able to secure and tarp freight in all weather conditions
