Requirements

  • Truck mounted forklift experience
  • Ability to lift 75lbs occasionally

Description:*Kamco Supply Corp. of Boston* is New England's largest one stop source and distributor of commercial building products including acoustical ceiling systems, architectural doors and hardware, drywall, steel framing, insulation, and exterior systems.
We are seeking to add a *Boom Driver* to our team.
Ideal candidate will have:
* Valid class *A or B license*
* Sound driving record
* Registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
* Current DOT medical card
* 1C, Hydraulics license (Boom Truck)
* Truck mounted forklift experience
* Moffett experience
* Ability to occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up-to 75lbs repetitively
* Ability to work well with others
Requirements:Candidates must pass a DOT pre-employment physical, lift test, and DOT drug test.
Subject to Criminal background search, Motor Vehicles Record Search, DOT Safety Performance History, and Full Query through FMCSA Clearinghouse.

*Responsibilities*
* Operate CDL trucks and boom truck equipment to lift, move, and position loads with precision and safety.
* Plan routes using GPS, manage logistics, and ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining compliant driving practices per FMCSA regulations.
* Load and unload cargo, operate forklifts as needed, and secure loads to prevent shifting or damage.
* Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identify maintenance issues, and report them promptly.
* Adhere to hazardous materials regulations when applicable and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
