Tech 3/Welder

STRUCTURAL is looking for experienced craft professionals to perform work in the Lake Charles, LA area, as well as surrounding areas on the Gulf Coast. If you have welding/fitting experience along with skills in concrete, finishing, carpentry, or rebar installation, we want to hear from you.

Construction duties include:

• Structural Steel Welding / fitting – experience required
• Concrete repair
• Concrete demolition
• Concrete placement and finishing
• Formwork / carpentry
• Rebar replacement
• Concrete Coating application
• Fireproofing installation
• Equipment Grouting

Successful candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this position:

• Possess a TWIC card
• Previous Industrial Plant experience
• Current Basic and Basic Plus Safety Council Training preferred
• Turnaround/Shutdown experience preferred
• Must being willing to wear a respirator
• Able to pass written or computerized industrial plant entrance tests
• Must be willing to travel to jobs outside of the Lake Charles, LA area
• Experience with a self-performing contractor, general contractor (GC), or specialty contractor
