Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program, or Master’s/Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited APTA program.
  • Current State License as a Physical Therapist (MI license required to practice in Michigan).
  • Proof of current CPR (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required.
  • Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting required.
  • Experience with durable medical equipment and ordering/educating patients on DME preferred.
  • Previous home care experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform prolonged standing and walking, heavy lifting, bending, pulling and pushing as required for patient care.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally as needed.
  • Must read, write and speak fluent English.
