Standard Job Description

Lockheed Martin is seeking a manufacturing engineer in Grand Prairie, TX. This role will require communication and collaboration with multiple disciplines across the site to provide production support on the Thursday - Sunday shift. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting manufacturing issues, reviewing defective hardware, and providing root cause / corrective action analysis as required. This role will support multiple functional areas including machining, assembly, coatings, and sheet metal. The successful candidate should have experience in a manufacturing environment, and an ability to manage varying priorites and projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a manufacturing environment or Bachelor's Degree in STEM field with 1 year of previous experience
  • Ability to review and understand technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and work instructions
  • Ability to work Thursday - Sunday shift
  • Track record of providing solutions to manufacturing challenges


Desired Skills

  • Experience with machining processes
  • Experience with Apriso / SAP S4 and Windchill PLM
  • Strong communication skills


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00
