Gastroenterology physician job in New York : A private practice in Long Island is actively seeking a licensed Gastroenterologist to join their growing team. Schedule: Monday to Friday (1 Saturday a month)
Call: Telephone only
Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions in the field of Gastroenterology
Prescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
Monitoring patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary
Providing health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
Referring patients to other medical specialists, when necessary
Providing compassionate and empathetic support and advice to patients regarding their health concerns
Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
