Local CDL A Switcher and Shuttle Driver - $27 Per Hour - Smyrna, TN

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations in Smyrna, TN. This is a FLEX assignment with the opportunity to move into a long-term/permanent position.

CDL A Driver Details

• Schedule: Monday-Friday - 06:00-16:00
• Pay: $1,100/week- $27 per hour
• Route Type: Switching, if driver is available/ flexible, client will have driver also shuttle
• Freight / Load Type: General Freight
• Handling: No-touch

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 1+ years of switching experience is REQUIRED
• Electronic logging device experience required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate equipment Local routes
• Transport Freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role
