Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2920 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Heparin drip experience preferred.

Special Requests: Former UnityPoint Health employees, whether FTE or PRN in the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another market regardless of which UPH facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. This policy does not apply to those who worked travel at UPH rather than as FTE or PRN. Requests for time off are limited to 1 day between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27 for all travelers.

Unit Details: Patient ratios are 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights. Patients are general medicine.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend. No call. Travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

Floating Requirements: Will float to 4A and 5A. May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
