- Conduct routine testing, monitoring, and analysis of pulp and paper manufacturing processes and chemical treatment programs.
- Support wet-end, retention, drainage, strength, deposit control, and water treatment applications to ensure optimal mill performance.
- Troubleshoot process upsets, quality issues, and equipment performance concerns in partnership with customer personnel.
- Analyze operating data and provide recommendations to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
- Manage chemical inventories and support product deliveries to ensure uninterrupted customer operations.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot chemical feed systems, pumps, instrumentation, and monitoring equipment.
- Prepare and communicate service reports, performance updates, and improvement recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure customer satisfaction, business retention, and identification of growth opportunities.
- 2+ years of experience in pulp & paper manufacturing, specialty chemicals, process engineering, paper science, or a related industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of paper machine operations, process chemistry, or mill support functions preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot pumps, feed systems, instrumentation, and related equipment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment and support multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
