Full job description
The dispatcher schedules, coordinates, dispatches, and monitors Badger units within a defined region following national processes and procedures. This role requires the flexibility to work nights and weekends.
The base salary for this role will be commensurate based on experience and education.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manages dispatch calendar (Google calendar, etc.)
- Manages daily dispatch activities (availability and time approval by Branch Manager (BM), dispatching closest trucks, etc.)
- Converts opportunities to sales requests (SR) and confirms with owner (Outside Sales Representative (OSR), General Manager (GM), or Branch Manager (BM)
- Answers central dispatch phone line in a timely and professionally
- Processes requests from existing (standard) customers
What We're Looking For:
- Education: high school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years dispatch experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition
- Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes, and personnel
- Knowledge of computers for scheduling and other dispatching duties, Oracle Field Operations module preferred
