Human Resources Business Partner Requirements & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant human resources experience
  • General knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR systems; experience with payroll databases
  • Strong partnership and communication skills for collaborating with managers and supervisors


Human Resources Business Partner Preferred Background & Skills


  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interpret safety rules and operating manuals
  • Demonstrated mentoring or supervisory experience


Human Resources Business Partner Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Partner with operations leaders to drive positive employee relations and retention strategies
  • Advise and support managers and supervisors on HR matters
  • Mentor and review assignments for HR Assistant
  • Lead recruitment, orientation, and training for all new employees
  • Oversee safety programs, compliance, and OSHA recordkeeping
  • Administer employee benefits programs and handle related inquiries
  • Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports for management review
  • Support workers’ compensation protocols and assist with claim administration
