The Academy of Art University is looking for a creative, outgoing, and camera-ready student to be the face of our official TikTok account. As our TikTok Personality, you’ll bring campus life to the spotlight through engaging videos, student features, and trending content that connects with our current students and the Academy community.

Responsibilities:

• Brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas for TikTok.

• Film, edit, and post videos that highlight campus events, Academy culture, student life, designs, and artistic works.

• Interview and interact with students on camera.

• Attend weekly meetings with the Organic Social Media team to review content plans.

• Stay on top of TikTok trends and adapt them for the Academy’s page.

Qualifications:

• Current Academy of Art University student eligible for work study.

• Comfortable on camera with a friendly, approachable personality.

• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with students.

• Familiarity with TikTok, including posting, editing, and trend research.

• Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

Location:
Hybrid – Remote and onsite based on events at school campus

Reports to:
Jess Kreusler, Online Director, School of Motion Pictures & Television/Social Media

Pay Rate: 

$19.61 per hour

Work Schedule:

Flexible hours from 5 to 20 hours per week based on campus events.

Federal Work Study schedules can work up to 20 hours per week*

*Federal Work Study work schedules may not conflict with the student's class schedule.

Length of Employment: The student's starting term at the Academy of Art University through graduation.
