TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local and regional yard operations based in Houston, TX. This position offers steady work, consistent routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Details:

• Schedule:
  • Varies; most routes start from 8:00 pm to 4:00 am
  • Yard shifts typically: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • 1–2 layovers per week (1 day)
• Pay: $24 Per Hour
• Route Type: Local / Regional
• Freight / Load Type: Dry van; 5–8 stops per day
• Equipment: Automatic and Manual trucks
• Handling: Strapping required

CDL A Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 1+ year of recent, verifiable driving experience
• Equipment Experience: Dry van
• Endorsements: Hazmat
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major violations in last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Responsibilities:

• Perform yard moves and support local/regional routes
• Safely operate automatic and manual equipment
• Secure loads using proper strapping techniques
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and communicate with dispatch
