Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2350 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Respiratory Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as a traveler at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked as permanent staff in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from that permanent facility.

Eligibility as current/previous employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2 or more years experience working in PICU and/or level 4 or greater NICU.

Unit Details: 20-25 treatments per day. Pediatric and neonatal patient population in NICU and PICU. All aspects of respiratory care, including Aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, airway management, intrahospital transport, Hamilton and Servo ventilators, Respironics and Hamilton BiPAP, and Fisher & Paykel HFNC. Intubation support is assist only.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and holidays as scheduled. Preference scheduling is permitted with a commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; weekends are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts. No call.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
