~ Schedule: 8 am - 4:30 pm -- weekends required
~~50 studies/day plus 4 - 6 IR procedures/day
~ Surgical, medical, ICU, and OB case types
~ Predominantly non-complex IR procedures
~ Percutaneous biopsies, drains, aspirations -- tunneled access infrequent
~ Thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, chest tubes required
~ Biopsy skills required -- thyroid, lung, and other
~ CTs: 12 - 15, X-rays: 15 - 20, ultrasounds: 8 - 12 daily
