Full job description

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong electrical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Madison, NC

Pay Range: $20-28 DOE

Shift: Day shift - 7am-7pm; Night shift - 6:45pm-7am; 3/4 schedule

What's the Job?

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including 480v, 3-phase power, and motor controls
  • Utilize PLC troubleshooting skills to resolve automation problems
  • Weld and perform hydraulic/pneumatic repairs as needed

What's Needed?

  • Strong electrical skills with knowledge of 480v, 3-phase power, and motor circuit controls
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and NEC code knowledge
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic skills
  • Welding skills
  • Ability to work holidays and weekends on a 3/4 schedule
