Job Description:

Seasonal Automotive Technician 

 

Job Summary 
This position maintains a diverse range of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy duty machinery, on-road tractors, and trailers from a variety of manufacturers. This position troubleshoots and maintains/repairs various systems including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electronics, and engines. This position performs other tasks as requested. 

 

Work Location:  1400 INTERMODAL PARKWAY HASLET, TX 76052
Work shift days:  Mon-Fri, Sun- Thur or Tues- Sat

Seasonal employment term: October - January 

 
Responsibilities: 

  • Support shop mechanics  

  • Light repair 

  • Ensures all vehicles are maintained regularly and in a timely manner. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Must be 21 years of age or older 

  • Must have a valid driver’s license  

  • Must have complete set of hand tools 

  • Must be able to lift-up to 70lbs. With assistance 

 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions. The starting pay rate is $40.11 

The company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Weekly pay, extensive training, growth opportunities, 401(K), defined-benefit pension plan, medical-dental and vision after waiting and or probation period, paid vacation, paid sick and family and medical leave time as required by law, paid holidays, education assistance program, discounted employee stock purchase program.
