Full job description

The Role

You'll drive market expansion across our Enterprise Law Firm segment, managing end-to-end sales cycles for our highest-value potential legal clients. In this role, you will lead complex, value-based sales strategies to show top law firms how Everlaw transforms litigation and investigation management, turning deep product knowledge into measurable customer value.

This is a full-time, exempt position based in our Oakland, CA or New York City office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home on Tu/Fr.

What you'll do

  • Prospect, build account pipelines, and engage decision-makers across enterprise law firms in partnership with Demand Generation, Sales Development, and channel partners.
  • Manage the full enterprise sales cycle, from initial discovery and needs analysis to complex contract negotiation and closing.
  • Conduct tailored value presentations and high-impact software demonstrations for senior law firm leadership and partners.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including Solutions Architecture, Value Engineering, Customer Success, and Legal—to execute territory plans and hit revenue targets.
  • Leverage modern sales technology (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo) to manage pipeline health and accurate forecasting.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Everlaw's product capabilities, industry positioning, and competitive differentiators.

About You

  • You have 5+ years of successful enterprise sales experience selling SaaS platforms or software solutions into law firms or large enterprise accounts.
  • You possess a proven track record of closed new-business success and consistent quota attainment ($1M+ ARR).
  • You are an energetic, curious, and self-directed hunter who excels at prospecting, uncovering customer friction points, and closing complex deals.
  • You demonstrate strong executive-level presentation skills, with the ability to convey value clearly to senior legal stakeholders.
  • You are willing and able to travel across your territory to meet prospective clients and attend team events in person.
  • You are authorized to work in the United States. Please note that at this time, Everlaw is not sponsoring U.S. employment visas for this role.

Bonus points

  • You have direct experience selling software or technology solutions into the legal industry.
  • You have familiarity with structured enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Command of Message.

Think you're missing some of the skills and are hesitant to apply? We do not believe in the 'perfect' candidate and encourage you to apply if you feel you can bring value to our team. We often revisit candidates who may have applied for a different role if something comes up that's a better fit.

The Team — Sales

The Sales team brings Everlaw to organizations that feel the pain of complex legal work most acutely. Across law firms, corporations, and the public sector, the team uses thoughtful discovery, tailored demonstrations, and well-managed evaluations to connect customer needs with clear, provable value. Sales is the bridge between a genuinely differentiated product and the organizations ready to transform how they uncover truth.

The annual base salary for this position is $155,000, with a total On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $310,000. The variable component is performance-based, contingent upon attainment of specific sales objectives, which are governed by Everlaw's policies and incentive plans. The role's compensation is subject to change in the future. This role is also eligible for equity and the benefits below.

  • Four "Everlawlidays" (additional paid company-wide days off) per year
  • Annual allocation for learning & development and relevant professional membership dues
  • Hybrid work with regular work-from-home days and flexibility for life's logistics
  • Monthly home internet reimbursement, plus a stipend for your desk setup

About Everlaw

That work is not a side task but the case itself, and where most of the time and money in litigation goes. Everlaw is the litigation and investigation management platform changing that, using AI to turn mountains of messy data into the handful of facts that win or lose a case, compressing weeks of work into hours.

We're the kind of place that's ranked #1 on G2 in our category and named a Great Place to Work™ by our own team. So if you want a front row seat to an industry in transformation, career-defining work you'll be proud to tell people about, and real upside at a company in control of its own destiny, we'd love to get to know you.
