Locum Interventional Radiology Physician

Position Type:
Specialty: Physician - Radiology - Interventional
Location: Springfield, OH .
Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM + weeknight and weekend call

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Hospital

Responsibilities:

Provide in-person Interventional Radiology coverage
Perform general community interventional radiology procedures
Perform biopsies and cancer-related interventional procedures
Interpret imaging and coordinate patient care
Collaborate with radiology team and hospital staff
Participate in weekday, weeknight, and weekend call coverage

Required Procedures:

General community Interventional Radiology procedures
Biopsies
Cancer-related interventional procedures

EMR System: EPIC and PACS

Support Staff: Full-staffed radiology group with 2 Interventional Radiologists

Days Per Month: Based on assignment dates

On-Call/Weekends:

Weeknight call required
Weekend call required
Call schedule covers 7 days per week

Submission Requirements:

Board Certified Required
BLS/ACLS Certified Required
Active Ohio License Required
DEA Registration Required
Clean malpractice and licensing history Required
NPDB Self-Query Report at presentation Required
Fellowship training (Nuclear or Mammography) Preferred
Close proximity to Ohio Preferred
