What YOU will do
- Coordinate and facilitate the design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices, ensuring work is completed on time and established quality and budgets are achieved.
- Research, develop, design and test electrical components, equipment, systems and networks to ensure that business objectives and required specifications are met.
- Prepare engineering sketches of specifications to construct, relocate or install equipment. facilities, products, or systems.
- Prepare documentation including confidential descriptions or specifications of proprietary hardware or software, information on product development, introduction schedules, product costs and performance weaknesses to track progress and analyze performance.
- Perform engineering work and applied research, development and design of new products to ensure quality standards and business objectives are met.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Must possess at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field and at least 8 years of progressive experience as an Electrical Engineer, Electronics Engineer or related role. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, Electronics Engineer or related role would be acceptable.
- Must possess at least 5 years of experience with DO0169 Environmental Qualification.
- Must possess at least 4 years of experience with Electrical Design.
- Must possess at least 3 years of experience with PCB Design.
- Must possess at least 2 years of experience in project management.
- Non-US Person - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position. The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.

The salary range is $119,600.00 to $204,500.00 USD per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
