As our Family Medicine Faculty, you will serve as a Preceptor to the resident physicians who provide medical care in our community-based outpatient clinic as well as inpatient care (at our 450-bed flag ship hospital), both located in Newport News, VA. Join our established team who share a passion for teaching and are committed to producing highly trained and innovative Family Physicians. Previous faculty experience is welcomed!
Highlights:
* One of the oldest, well developed family medicine residency programs in the country that promotes evidence-based medicine with 13 residents per PGY year
* Osteopathic recognition through the ACGME with an integrated Osteopathic curriculum with both DO and MD faculty on staff with an emphasis on quality patient care while individualizing each resident's education
* Serves a broad spectrum of patients in the community addressing the full breadth of family medicine with an emphasis on disease prevention, disease management, health maintenance and patient education
* EPIC links all of our OP & IP facilities within the health system
* 4 weeks scheduled PTO, 1 week CME, 5 scheduled Holidays

Hiring Range: $285,000 - $335,000
