Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Special Requests: Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year.

Unit Details: The assignment is in an ER observation area with medical-surgical telemetry patients. The unit sees 8-16 patients per day. ER RNs manage their own ER holds; staff try to keep them separate from the main ED. RNs monitor their own telemetry. Nurses perform lab draws. Oxygen and SVN are used. House transporters handle patient transport to X-ray or CT. Patients are boarding while waiting for a hospital room.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No holiday requirement. Standby required.

Floating Requirements: Travelers will be first to float and are primarily assigned to St. Joseph Medical Center, but if needed, they will be required to float to similar floors throughout Region Two: St. Clare Hospital – Lakewood, WA; St. Elizabeth Hospital – Enumclaw, WA; and St. Joseph Medical Center – Tacoma, WA.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
