24hr shifts -- 7 am to 7 am, 5 - 6 shifts per month
8 - 10 patients per day; 0 - 4 deliveries per shift
Hospital-based neonatology position
Rounding 8 am - 9 am; routine work complete by 2 - 3 pm
On-call remainder of shift -- provider must remain nearby
Attends emergency deliveries and responds to all calls during shift
