Clean Harbors in Corunna, ON is seeking a local Class AZ Driver to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will hold a Class AZ License and be responsible for operating a variety of units (Roll off, Luggers, Tankers, Vans primarily) to perform hazardous and non-hazardous waste pickups at various client sites. This is a unionized position and will follow the applicable CBA.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
- Drive, operate and maintain assigned units (Roll off, Luggers, Tankers, Vans etc.)
- Guarantee proper loading and unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste.
- Perform pre-and-post-trip inspections and ensure the equipment is always mechanically sound and in good working order.
- Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to meet all requirements and regulations.
- Complete field level risk assessments and other related paperwork.
- Work as part of a team with customers, co-workers & supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class AZ Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to maintain a clean-shaven face to ensure proper respirator fit.
- Valid FAST Card preferred; at minimum, a valid passport with no travel restrictions is required.
- Proven ability to operate manual transmission commercial vehicles.
- Experience with Hazardous Waste transportation and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations is highly preferred.
- Previous experience operating tankers and/or roll-off trucks is required.
- Ability to safely operate vehicles equipped with up to an 18-speed manual transmission.
- Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods.
