Hospitalist physician employment in Texas : TeamHealth has an exciting new day shift, rounding-only hospitalist opening at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center in Austin, Texas. This is an established program between TeamHealth and HCA. Our physicians work a traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule with shifts from 7am to 7pm, 12pm to 12am, and 7pm to 7am. St. David's Round Rock Medical Center is a level II trauma designated facility with 175 beds. During the day shift (7a-7p) there are a total of 6 physicians working; 5 rounding physicians with 1 dedicated admitter, 1 swing physician (12p-12a) who handles 10 admissions, and 1 hospitalist that rounds in an acute inpatient rehab. At night (7p-7a), we have one nocturnist physician and one nurse practitioner who handle roughly 10 admissions in total. There is full specialty support in place as well as a rapid response team to handle codes. The current EMR in place at all St. David's locations is Meditech. Interested in learning more? Apply today!
