📍 Location: 500 Mayo Shell Rd., Galena Park, TX 77547
💲 Starting Pay: $19.00 - $23.50/hour
🕐 Status: Full-Time | Immediate Hire
🕔 Schedule: 7:30AM - 4:30PM M-F; Open availability required, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Container Repair / Maintenance Technicians with experience to join our team. This role involves hands-on maintenance and repair of shipping containers and chassis, ensuring all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on shipping containers
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Follow safety procedures and comply with industry standards
- Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Selects appropriate materials to repair/weld equipment
- Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together for welding
- Bolts, clamps, tack-welds, or fastens parts to secure for welding and/or repair
- Sets up equipment and welds parts, using appropriate welding equipment
- Assists with general repair duties and depot maintenance as required
- Works with sheet metal fabrication
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in chassis/trailer/container repair and maintenance
- Basic welding skills preferred not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Must have basic set of hand tools
- Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening
- Open availability
