The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients while acting as a trusted advisor to clients, their families, and centers of influence. Through consultative relationship management and strategic planning, the Senior Wealth and Trust Advisor will identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships, attract new clients, and position Bryn Mawr Trust as the wealth partner of choice.
Job Responsibilities:

- Proactively identify opportunities to expand client relationships by introducing additional wealth management, trust, investment, banking, lending, and planning solutions across the WSFS platform.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase assets under management, assets under administration, and overall relationship profitability.
- Generate new business opportunities through referrals, prospecting activities, professional networking, and partnerships with attorneys, accountants, family offices, and other centers of influence.
- Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients and convert opportunities through a consultative, goals-based planning approach.
Advice, Planning & Wealth Strategy:
- Lead comprehensive wealth planning conversations to understand clients' financial objectives, family dynamics, estate planning needs, tax considerations, and legacy goals.
- Collaborate with investment advisors, estate specialists, tax professionals, and banking partners to deliver integrated wealth management solutions tailored to each client.
- Utilize planning tools and resources to develop and implement customized strategies that address clients' evolving needs while demonstrating the value of Bryn Mawr Trust's full-service capabilities.
- Become a trusted advisor who anticipates client needs and proactively delivers strategic guidance across generations.
Leadership & Market Presence:
- Represent Bryn Mawr Trust within the community and professional organizations, enhancing the firm's visibility and reputation among affluent clients and referral sources.
- Serve as a mentor and coach to junior advisors, helping to strengthen relationship management, business development, and client service capabilities across the team.
- Partner with leadership on strategic growth initiatives, market development efforts, and key business objectives.
- Act as a subject matter expert on trust, fiduciary, and wealth advisory matters while promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and client advocacy.
Fiduciary Oversight & Risk Management:
- Ensure all trust and fiduciary relationships are administered in compliance with applicable regulations, fiduciary standards, and internal policies.
- Exercise sound judgment in managing complex client situations, balancing exceptional client service with prudent risk management practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensure audit readiness, and uphold the highest standards of fiduciary excellence and professional integrity.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional designation (CFP®, CFA, CTFA, JD, CPA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in wealth management, trust administration, financial services, or a related advisory capacity, including significant responsibility for managing complex client relationships.
- Demonstrated success in business development, relationship expansion, asset gathering, and referral generation within the high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth marketplace. An existing, portable book of client relationships and a proven ability to transition and grow those relationships is a significant plus.
- Deep knowledge of fiduciary administration, estate planning, trust structures, wealth transfer strategies, taxation, and investment principles.
- Proven ability to develop trusted client relationships and influence decision-making across multigenerational families and professional advisor networks.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and collaboration skills with a track record of driving results in a team-oriented environment.
