Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility, EMR used, patient types/duties, and float areas.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. All travelers must have one manager/supervisor reference from the most recent/current assignment. Charge nurse and DON references are not accepted. The facility will call any references directly to verify.

Required Skills/Experience: - Nurses must be able to read and interpret their own telemetry strips.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching facility experience highly preferred.

Required Credentials: - No hits on license or background, regardless of how long ago.

Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Block schedules and matching travel partner schedules are not guaranteed. - Travelers will work holidays at the manager’s discretion and based on unit needs. No holiday RTO will be approved. - Holiday call-ins will result in cancellation of contract.

Unit Details: - Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 and can increase based on staffing and acuity. - Patient population includes pre- and post-CABG care, cath lab, chest pain, new onset Afib, pacemakers, cardiac abnormalities, CHF, renal failure, pneumonia, COPD, psych/SI, altered mental status, renal/urologic, acute kidney injury, dialysis, and chronic and acute wounds. - Department includes 5E MS/Tele, 6E MS (ortho/surgery), 7E MS (psych), and 8E MS (various Med-Surg, COPD exacerbation, CKD, wound care). - RNs titrate drips including heparin and amiodarone/cardizem (fixed rates). - Equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, Nihon Koden telemetry, and 24/7 monitor tech support; tele techs print strips.

Shift & Scheduling: - Self-scheduling with manager balancing; the initial schedule will not be self-scheduled. - Minimum of 6 Saturdays or Sundays in a 6-week period. - No call.

14 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
