Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2050 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 9 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Missouri Health Care and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Missouri Health Care.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Clinicians who live within 51-75 miles from the facility will be considered local.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Behavioral health experience preferred. Heparin drip experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adult patient population with at-risk behavioral patients, including ETOH/drug withdrawal, delirium, overdose, and altered mental status. Secured unit with whole-unit video monitoring, ligature alarms, anti-barricade doors, and a badge-secured entrance. Patient ratios: days 4-5, nights 5-6, weekends 4-6.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Call required. Must work at least 50 percent of the holidays that occur during the contract.

Floating Requirements: Float to other med-surg units.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 3 years
