Oncologist needed in Cortlandt Manor, NY
$330/hr
  • Lodging, flight, and rental car provided
  • Must be board certified
  • 2 yrs experience
  • Breast fellowship trained (preferred)
  • 3 months with option to extend
  • Setting: hospital/clinic at hospital
  • Shifts: M-F 8:30a to 4:30p, infusion coverage until 5:30 if needed once or twice a week
  • Clinical hours are blocked twice a day during unassigned call weeks to ensure the provider is able to manage both
  • Potential for one-weekend call and one-week unassigned hospital call per month
  • Call is both in house and phone call
  • Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: Each provider has a MA (Cancer Center Tech) working with them; MA also covers lab draws; the team works with 2 RN navigators (Recruiting a 3rd) to assist the patient s needs and help the providers. We have one full-time NP working in practice, and in Nov, we will have a .5 NP (medical oncology) to be shared with Radiation Oncology.
