What We Offer:

Novant Health Pediatrics After Hours is seeking a part-time Certified Medical Assistant Lead!

In this role, you'll be supporting both the After Hours Carmel and After Hours Poplar Tent locations.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:00pm-9:00pm, Saturday-Sunday 10:00am-6:00pm

Week A- 20 hours Carmel and 12 hours Poplar Tent

Week B- 20 hours Poplar Tent and 12 hours Carmel

Join Novant Health Pediatrics After Hours as a Certified Medical Assistant Lead and help provide compassionate, personalized care to patients. You’ll lead a collaborative clinical team while building meaningful relationships with patients and supporting them throughout their care journey.

This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience working with pediatrics patients or in a medical office setting, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply!

What We're Looking For:
  • Education:High School Diploma or GED, required.
    • Certified Medical Assistant requirements: Graduate of Certified Medical Assistant program. Certifications allowed through American Association of Medical Assistants. Registered Medical Assistant requirements:Registry allowed through Association of Medical Technologists.
  • Experience: Previous work in a medical setting, preferred
  • Licensure/Certification: Current certification as CMA or RMA, required.
  • Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
