The Enterprise Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping and guiding CHG’s digital strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving innovation. They are responsible for overseeing the research and development, implementation, and maintenance of the enterprise architecture, which serves as the blueprint for CHG’s infrastructure, applications, and data management systems. The Enterprise Architect ensures that the organization’s technology portfolio is aligned with the overall digital and business strategy and goals.
Responsibilities
- Adopt an AI approach and automate the delivery of EA services including architecture governance, application/technology portfolio management and business architecture.
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework and repository, including defining principles, standards, capability maps and reference and target state architecture for technology and business domains. Analyze business processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience
- Lead Solution Architecture for key enterprise initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather input, communicate architectural decisions, and ensure alignment with business and customer needs. Provide guidance and support to product development teams during the development, implementation, and integration of new software solutions
- Research, design, and evaluate software solutions and conduct POCs to align with business requirements and strategic goals, considering factors such as scalability, flexibility, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness – consistently addressing time-to-value (build vs. buy)
- Conduct regular reviews of the enterprise architecture to assess its effectiveness and identify areas for improvement, specifically in the context of software architecture and development practices
Qualifications
- Well versed in Artificial Intelligence with hands-on experience using AI for automation and insights. Have implemented Agentic solutions in production
- Have experience with Solution Architecture with depth in cloud, data, integration and information security.
- Experience with Business Architecture initiatives including developing capability maps, process analysis, solution identification and roadmap development and governance
- Develop a respected working relationship with stakeholders and be seen as a valued conduit in gaining alignment between business, engineering and product management stakeholders
- Research the market and bring innovative ideas to help differentiate CHG from competition and within the industry
- 10+ years of experience in application development, infrastructure or data engineeringh
- 7+ years of experience in architecture or a related role, with a demonstrated track record of success in managing software architecture and development projects
- Proven ability to develop and implement enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and guidelines, particularly in the context of software architecture
- Strong understanding of business processes, software development methodologies, and how technology can be used to support business objectives
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills
- Experience with cloud-native software architectures and microservices patterns
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical software solutions
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture tools and methodologies, as well as software development tools and methodologies
Education & Experience
- related field and experience or relevant experience
- Hold certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Cloud
- Practitioner of EA Frameworks such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), and related concepts such as Business Architecture Body of Knowledge (BIZBOK) and Business Technology Architecture Body of Knowledge (BTABoK)
Preferred
Experience in healthcare, healthcare staffing, or a similarly regulated industry
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $163,700 -- $316,500 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
